We were doing a big training evolution on the ship and I had to go out to a gun mount to get a simulated patient. We got there, did what we had to do and as we were about to leave training ended.
A year or so later I was a Flying Squad training and one of my guys (Reed) on the team told me that one of his friends had been asking about me. Of course I asked who and blah, blah, blah. He told me it was Fawson and I had no clue who he was talking about.
A week or so later I was standing in a passageway on the ship looking for stuff that I needed to fix and Reed walked by. He stopped as usually and we talked for a bit and he brought up Fawson again. So I told him to tell Fawson to stop being a puss and come and talk to me. Then I said something like "If he is cute enough I might even go to the Christmas Party with him." Reed said something about going down to his office and seeing what he was doing and left. I went back to work.
That day or a few after I got an e-mail from Fawson. I am not sure what it said, but apparently they did walk by shortly after Reed left but I 'looked busy' working so they did not stop.
We hung out a bit and chatted on e-mail. When we pulled into San Francisco we hung out the last day we were there and had a good time. As we were walking up one of the 50 hills we concord trying to find China Town, he grabbed my hand (he later told me that I pulled away), and I got the butterflies in my tummy. It was kinda cool and why does this sound like I am still in High School?!
So we get back to Washington and hang out a good bit of out off time. It has been interesting and a lot of fun. The day we actually started dating is a debate and neither one of us know so Dec 1st is!
