Long Time

I have been bad. No one reads my blog anyway, but I have not posted in over 2 months. So, here is what has been going on: After road trip #2, Ronnie left for Guam so I was stuck in the states for 2 months with out him to drive crazy. It was rough! Fortunately they have good phone plans and we were able to talk every night.

On February 12th or so, it was announced that I had made Junior Sailor of the Year! (I can't believe it either). I then went back to boot camp and Chicago had a -30 (with the wind chill) cold snap. NOT FOR ME! Had a great time there, but TOO cold. We then drove down to Springfield and went to the Abe Lincoln Museum which was actually pretty cool!

All of my stuff got packed. My truck got shipped.

I did go home for 3 days and then flew to Guam.......LONG flight. I did not get through customs and to the base until like 0240. Long day. Now, I have jetlag and it sucks. I have slept a little longer each night but not last night. It was less and I was up this morning at 4 am. Wanted to go back to sleep, tried to go back to sleep, obviously......still awake!

The island however, is wonderful (so far). There is a volcano that has erupted about 200 miles north or so and it has smog covering the island right now but it started to clear up some yesterday.

I went to Navy College Office and I am only 4 classes short of my Assosicates......yeah. I might just get edumicated after all.

Hopefully soon we will be in a house and I can blog like a some what normal person.....once a week or so, but this has been one of my typical brief updates!
